I was so nervous choosing a moving company earlier this summer, because trusting all our belongings to anyone is a huge deal. We just finished our move with Agility; it wasn’t cheap but it was worth it. Shane and Denise were good with communications ahead of time, so I knew what to expect. They also answered questions whenever I called. For the actual work, Alex, Andre, and Reese did an amazing job in difficult circumstances. During the pickup it was 90 degrees out and humid; Alex nearly got heat exhaustion at one point. Then on delivery we had on-and-off thunderstorms that made them have to pause work several times, and many narrow staircases to navigate. They got everything done, kept our stuff safe, and made sure we were happy with their work every step of the way. At the end of the job Reese showed me his inhaler—I can’t believe he did all of that work while managing asthma! And I was embarrassed that we still had stuff out of boxes when they arrived for pickup, but Alex was very kind about it and we were able to pay extra to get their help with the final packing. Andre was super nice and funny, asking about our cats and our hobbies throughout the work. A fantastic crew all around. The only issue we encountered was that Shane had said our upright piano could be moved like regular furniture, but it became clear at our new place that it would be a massive undertaking to get it up the stairs. I should’ve realized that moving a piano would take specialized work, but maybe Shane should have realized that as well. In the end, Alex & Reese & Andre were able to get the piano into our little lobby, and I’ll get piano movers to do the actual move up the stairs. So a good solution! But it caused a little stress on the day, since we had to figure out a plan on the fly.

The exact same three-man crew handled the unloading in Pennsylvania. They worked tirelessly, and absolutely nothing was damaged during the entire process. Moving is usually stressful, but the team at Agility Van Lines made it a pleasure or as nice as it could be. I highly recommend them!

From the moment I first called and spoke with Vince, I knew Agilty would be the selection. He explained everything and what to look for when I spoke with the other companies. Denise was amazing, keeping us informed throughout the entire process. Alex , Reese and Andre were simply put, the GOAT (greatest of all teams). They were exceptionally careful during the packing and delivery process. They were very thorough in explaining every step and our delivery took only 2 days. They almost beat us here. So from NJ to NC, our experience was nothing short of exceptional. It's also important to note that Shane stayed in touch too. What company has their owner call you? I dare say none. I just used Agility to move from Illinois to Florida and they did a great job. It was a very hot day in Chicago (around 100° real feel) with a hazardous air quality alert due to Canadian wildfire smoke that had blown into town but my movers, Alfred and Nicholas, powered through it and didn’t complain at all. Only one thing was broken in the move, a glass candle holder, but it was old and I didn’t care about it, so no big deal. They handled my favorite things, my Peloton and mountain bike, with care and even fixed my mountain bike in Florida when I discovered the wheel and chain came loose in transit. I am positive the owner, Shane, was tired of hearing from me as I had many questions and asked for like 40 iterations of the contract before I signed it but he handled it like a champ. My only complaint, using that term loosely, is that I think there should’ve been more movers. I filled a 26’ truck and because there were only two guys, the load went from 9am to 10:30pm, which not only obliterated my time slot to clean the old place before leaving for FL and rendered me exhausted for my early drive the next day (I still had to clean and shower after they left and had the alarm set for 4:30am the next day), but also caused me to pay more in tips and provide more meals than I had planned. This is tricky though because I’m not sure how they could have fit more guys in the cab of the truck for the round-trip drive. I was moving a 1-BR apt so I think this was an honest mistake, thinking it wouldn’t be that much for two guys to handle, however my place was densely packed with stuff. In the end, the two movers that I had got it done, had great attitudes about the awful weather conditions, and were overall really nice guys and hard workers. If you’re moving long distance, I would highly recommend Agility. To avoid the extra long day pitfall I experienced, just make sure when you get your quote to be specific about how much stuff you may have that’s not too obvious during a video walk through - the stuff in drawers/cabinets/storage that Shane may not know is there.

Interstate move from FL to NC. Crew for packing and loading did great. Cedric was the foreman and did solid and professional work out of Miami. Even on a tough gig with a piano and lots of studio gear, I was impressed. The delivery team: Billy Jean and Juan did awesome as well. Arrived on time, worked through the day and communicated clearly. I did alot of homework on movers. Agility wasn’t the most expensive or cheapest but they seemed to be the ideal…family owned and all your stuff on the same truck is awesome. Shane (president of the company) communicated clearly the entire time, gave a reasonable quote and there were no hidden fees. I did have a long carry charge (I knew about this ahead of time because my new place was down a very long hallway) and he didn’t even charge the full price for that. That could have been a lot more based on what I signed but he waved like half of it. Talk about a nice surprise on a stressful day. Overall every move can’t be perfect. But if you communicate well with your team, you should expect to get what you pay for.These guys know their stuff and I would use them again if I needed to. They really made sure the job was done well, and I’m really grateful for the hard work everybody put in. I should also note we had quite a bit of artwork in glass frames. Everything was bubble wrapped to the heavens. And the larger pieces bubble wrapped AND boxed. Some of that artwork was quite important to us, so pretty with that. Overall moving sucks. But they made it suck way less than it needed to and I didn’t feel blind sided with charges. They’re legit and I really do recommend.

I did a lot of research in regards to moving my step mom long distance. I chose these guys because if their price. Because there was a lot more then I and we expected, the price was double. But it was still relatable to the rest of the moving companies. And they went above and beyond to take care of us. I felt there were a few things that could have been better, but the guys busted their butts doing their job. They were fun and friendly and non stop, in NJ before we left. Billy Jean and Gayle brought the second truck down and were non stop as well and all around all were so professional and patient and accommodating. We have moved a few times and this was the best move of all. They did an amazing job packing everything and nothing was lost or broken. Even the smallest items, like a tiny battery , were there. The job was a complicated move from Boston to New Jersey, and Agility Van Lines handled it with good cheer and a lot of extra help that went Beyond the Call of Duty. Ontario and his crew reassembled our myriad bags and small boxes into huge wardrobe boxes that they labeled for their contents, and which stacked up in their truck much better. When the elevator at our new building stopped working, Ontario and Company walked things upstairs and walked the empty boxes downstairs – even bringing back down two large items that we realized wouldn’t fit in the apartment, just to put them in the trash area. Ontario, Ian and the other crew members remained cheerful through the long, hard work and their positive attitude helped us get through the challenging move as well.

Excellent Moving Experience! Agility moved my mom from Florida to Massachusetts, and overall it was a wonderful experience! Ian, who helped with packing and unpacking, was incredibly thoughtful and took excellent care of all her belongings. He was very organized, remembered exactly how to reassemble each bed frame, and made the process stress-free. Jenson called early on drop-off day and was kind, professional, and communicative, keeping us updated throughout the day. Juan also did a great job unpacking quickly and efficiently. There was a delay on the pickup, but the office handled it very well and compensated us fairly. We truly appreciated their honesty and responsiveness. We hired Agility Van Lines to help us move from northwest PA to NC. We were impressed from the first contact to the final delivery. We initially spoke with the owner, Shane and had a quote by that evening. His crew arrived at the time estimated and got to work packing the truck immediately. Foreman Daniel along with Elie and Marcus had the entirety of our belongings packed safely within hours. Their arrival at our new home occurred exactly when they said it would. Daniel, Elie and new crew member Tyquan unpacked the truck in a safe and swift manner. This crew from Agility worked tirelessly and never wasted time. Not only were they great workers, they were also extremely personable and polite. If we could give them 10 stars, we would certainly do so!

Agility made my move from New Jersey to Michigan so smooth, and I can honestly say I’ve never seen movers wrap furniture so thoroughly. The whole moving process its self is very stressful, mine is a long distance state to state (NJ to NC) moving. As promised the staff arrived on time but estimation quote went wrong but Shane accommodated immediately by sending an other truck in couple of hours, they delivered on time. I would strongly recommend them but please make sure to get the proper estimation quote of boxes and cu feet for moving.
